April Darby was born on May 27, 1991 in Minneapolis (USA) as a daughter of very creative and musical parents. Her father a singer/musician and her mother a singer/dancer.

The whole family is moving back to Europe (The Netherlands) when April is 9 months old. As an easy going baby who loves the camera, April does a lot of modeling work in the Netherlands. Her highlight is a very successful TV Commercial in 1995, which was on TV for one year. April modelled until 2002.

April always loved to sing and dance.

1998 At the age of 7, she started her first singing lessons
2002 At the age of 11, she did her first musical workshop and she fell in love with this combination of singing, dancing and acting.
She had several leading rolls in musicals. In addition to musical she started street dance lessons.
2005 At the age of 14, she auditioned and was enrolled at the Dutch Musical School (NME). Two years in a row she performed in a summer musical.
2005 At the age of 14, April starts performing with RB & soul& pop songs and also becomes the singer of the school band.
2006 April records several songs in Atlanta (USA) with Omni records to start her own music style.
2007 At the age of 16, she was enrolled at the NME Junior Academy.
2008 2nd year at the NME Junior Academy.
2008 April collaborates with a new producer and starts recording new songs for her promotion package and is looking for a record deal.
